Rental Requirements

Taiwan Residents

1. Valid National ID + Driver's License required.
2. Must be 20 years of age or older with at least 1 year of driving experience.
3. Credit card payment — cardholder must be the renter (no deposit required).
4. Cash payment — motorcycle or NT$10,000 deposit required.
5. No outstanding traffic fines, no bad records with other rental agencies, no civil or criminal records.
6. For road safety, Goodcars reserves the right to refuse rental at its discretion.

Overseas Visitors

1. Valid Passport + Original Driver's License from home country (must remain valid throughout the rental period).
2. International Driving Permit (IDP) required. Japanese visitors may present a JAF-certified translation in lieu of an IDP.
3. Credit card in the renter's own name — the name on the card must exactly match the driver's license and passport.
   Debit cards are not accepted. Cards belonging to companions, family members, or third parties are not accepted.
4. Must be 20 years of age or older with at least 1 year of driving experience.
5. No outstanding traffic fines, no bad records with other rental agencies.
6. For road safety, Goodcars reserves the right to refuse rental at its discretion.

Terms & Conditions

1. This promotion is valid for online reservations only.
2. Not applicable during consecutive holidays of 3 days or more. Cannot be combined with other promotions.
3. All quoted prices are inclusive of tax and insurance.
4. Goodcars reserves the right to amend the promotion. Specific vehicle models cannot be guaranteed.
5. Prices include Basic Insurance (click here for coverage details).
6. Premium Insurance (upgradeable at extra cost) (click here for details).
7. A 30% deposit of the total rental fee is required at the time of booking.
8. A credit card must be provided in the rental agreement for potential traffic fines or parking fees.
9. The promotional rate applies to weekdays only (Monday to Thursday).
10. Prices exclude fuel, parking, ETC tolls, and traffic fines.
11. One-way rentals and airport pick-up/drop-off are subject to additional surcharges.
